Disclaimer
This disclaimer explains the limits of the tools on OxoApp: clocks follow your device, the on-screen ruler needs calibration, fancy text is Unicode that older systems may show as boxes, and emoji look different on every platform. It also says who OxoApp is not.
What the tools can and cannot promise
| Tool | What to keep in mind |
|---|---|
| Clocks and time | The times come from your device clock and the time zone rules built into your browser. If your device clock is wrong, the times shown are wrong too. |
| On-screen ruler | Screens differ in size and pixel density. The ruler needs a calibration step and can still be off by a millimetre or more. Do not use it where precision matters. |
| Fancy text and fonts | Styled letters are Unicode characters, not font files. Older systems and some apps show them as empty boxes, and screen readers may spell them out letter by letter. |
| Symbols and emoji | Every platform draws emoji in its own style, so a symbol can look different on an iPhone, an Android phone and Windows. |
| Random pickers | Results come from your browser and are meant for fun and quick choices, not for gambling or prize draws. |

Frequently asked questions
Is OxoApp affiliated with OXO kitchenware?
No. OxoApp is an independent website with no connection to OXO kitchen products or to any company with a similar name.
How accurate is the ruler?
It is only as accurate as your calibration. Match the outline to a bank card, 85.60 mm wide, and check the result against a real ruler before you rely on it.
Why does a symbol show as an empty box?
The character is valid but your device has no font that draws it. Try another browser or app, or choose a different symbol.
