Privacy Policy
This policy explains what OxoApp collects when you visit the site and what stays on your own device. It was last updated on October 26, 2026.

What stays in your browser
The tools run in your browser. Text you type into the font tool, the options you choose and the symbols you copy are handled on your device and are not sent to our server. Two small settings are kept in your browser’s local storage: the scale you set when you calibrate the ruler, and the short list of recently copied symbols on the symbol pages. Neither one leaves your device.
What our server records
Like most websites, the server that delivers pages records standard request data: your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use it to keep the site secure and working, and it is kept for a limited period.
Accounts, comments and submissions
OxoApp has no visitor accounts, no comments and no forms that store what you write. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply.
Cookies and advertising
On the date above the site runs no analytics script, shows no advertising and sets no advertising cookies. If that changes, this page will be updated first. Your browser or our hosting provider may set technical cookies that are needed to deliver pages.
Children
OxoApp is a general-audience site and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. A child who wants to write to us should ask a parent or guardian first.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR in Europe and the CCPA in California, you may have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its use. Write to [email protected] and we will answer. See also the about page and return to OxoApp.
Frequently asked questions
Does OxoApp store the text I type?
No. The tools run in your browser, so what you type stays on your device.
What does the ruler save?
One number: the scale you set when you calibrated the ruler. The symbol pages can also keep a short list of the characters you copied last.
How do I clear what is saved?
Press Reset on the ruler page, use Clear on the recent list, or clear the site’s data in your browser settings.
